Director Jamie Maclean is a project-manager and public artist, consultant and art restorer with over 25 years experience in making and restoring public, memorial and bespoke artworks . His work includes steel, concrete and timber sculptures, relief carvings, painted murals, ceramic murals, functional street furniture, and decorative artworks for playgrounds and parks. He has a Master of Fine Arts (Sculpture) from QUT. In recent years Jamie has focused on asset maintenance and maintenance-associated aspects of collection management. In 2018 he surveyed and audited over 750 cultural and recreational assets for the Toowoomba Regional Council , and in 2020 trialed a five tired Public Art Maintenance Strategy for the Brisbane City Council Core Public Art Collection. As a restorer of artworks Jamie has team-managed the restoration of several signature public artworks and memorials in Brisbane and south-east Queensland, and is also hands-on in many restoration projects. |
