CAS was engaged by the City of Moreton Bay to provide restoration services for bespoke art and commemorative elements. CAS  completed detailed cleaning and restoration work of selected sculptural works, mosaics and plaques at Kallangur Town Centre, Mango Hill Light Horse Memorial, Samford Avenue of Honour, Anzac Place Redcliffe, Naval Memorial Kallangur, Mt Mee Memorial, and Anzac Park Petrie.  

In July -September 2025 CAS engaged by the City of Moreton Bay to conducted a condition audit of 27 regional War Memorials. The project involved detailed site inspections to determine and record the current condition of all elements included in each Memorial including: stone and timber monuments, commemorative plaques, flag stations, interpretive signage, paving works, historical artifacts and bespoke artworks. The audit reports provide Council with a baseline to further plan and prioritise asset management and future maintenance.

In June 2025 CAS provided site management and for Chalkos Fine Art Foundry’s restoration of the bronze sculpture 'Gestation' by American artist Baille Oaks to the Queen Street Mall in Brisbane. CAS provided site set-up and safety plans, work schedules and work and vehicle permits as well as on-site management during the overnight removal and re-installation of the sculpture.
 

In December 2024 CAS was contacted by the Cj Hendry Studio in New York to provide installation services for two of the artist's iconic ‘Pink Chairs’ series to the State Library of Queensland. CAS designed an installation methodology for the Pink Chairs with detailed site scoping and engineering specifications. However time became a factor in the project as it was discovered that on delivery the artworks needed to be completely stripped and repainted due to damage in shipping. CAS provided a full coatings restoration for the Pink Chairs as well as  engineered  upgrades  to their bases, but was unfortunately out of time for the installation which was completed by the SLQ.

In February to May, CAS was engaged by Brisbane City Council to recondition three bespoke seating elements at Rocks Riverside Park in Jindalee. The seats were made by manual arts students from Corinda High School and Centenary High School in 2004 and 2007, and feature design elements inspired by the history of the site as a once-working cement factory. All seats were partially dismantled, detail-cleaned and all components re-finished with new components added as required.

CAS was contacted by the City of Moreton Bay in late 2024 to refurbish seven carved wooden totems featuring bees, bee-hive and natural plant designs at Leslie Patric Park in Arana Hills. Conditions to address included water-related damage to outer layers, footings and open end-grain to tops. Footings were excavated and sealed, failing timber was removed and bases re-built, and the designs repainted as close to the original as possible.

CAS was invited to re-design the new layout for the Samford RSL Memorial in July 2024. After designs were approved work began in late 2024 to remove the previous slab, clean the sandstone monument and recondition the bronze plaques. With that completed, a new concrete slab, flagpole and light fittings were installed. The cut-granite feature at the base of the monument replicates a design used in the Samford Avenue of Honour memorial elements – honouring the twenty fallen soldiers from WW1, WW2 and Korea from the Samford District. 

Designed by public artist Jamie Maclean in 2004, the Cloudland Memorial Arch commemorates the Cloudland Ballroom - a popular entertaiment venue - which stood on the site of the present Cloudland Apartments in Bowen Hills. CAS was contacted by Blue Sky View, Brisbane City Council's Public Art  maintenance managers, to provide a full refurbishment of the paving, structural painting and interpretive panels for the memorial artwork. Now, Cloudland Memorial Arch can continue to tell the story of Cloudland’s 42-year history - from being an American Army Base in WW2 - a popular dance and concert venue from jitterbugging to the punk era - and the shock of its sudden overnight demolition in 1982.

These three carved totems by artist Jamie Maclean, featuring local fauna and flora of the Sandgate/Shorncliffe area, were originally set to the back of the Lower Moora Park Playground in Sandgate Brisbane in 2007. Due to water damage and playground restructuring they were removed from their original location in 2023, and once restored by CAS were mounted onto new steel stirrups and re-installed at the entry points of the refurbished playground in May 2024.
