'Flower by the Gate' by artist Pamela See is part of Brisbane City Council’s Core Public Art Collection.
In January 2020 the work needed to be removed from its existing site at the corner of Albert and Mary Streets Brisbane, due to Cross River Rail construction. Cultural Asset Services worked with Cross River Rail contractors to remove the work from the site. With bronze restoration by Chalkos Fine Arts Foundry,  and stone restoration by Ceramica Mandala , the sculpture is now  fully refurbished and in storage - ready for its new location.
