2023 in Review: The Drover and His Mate - May 2023

These well-loved bronze sculptures – originally from a series of life-cast artworks made in fibre-glass for Expo 88 by Artbusters, were re-cast in 2019 in bronze by Chalkos Fine Art Foundry and installed by CAS opposite the RNA show-ring.  In May 2023 CAS teamed up with Chalkos Foundry again to clean and detail the artworks as part of the Brisbane City Council’s public art maintenance program.
