This 30 year-old carving of a Waterdragon was originally situated at the edge of bush-land in Stringybark Park Brisbane. The original carving (artist unknown), made from one cypress log, had become weathered over the years with much loss of detail. The restoration by CAS involved stripping the artwork back to solid wood, re-creating the head, legs and feet and completing the surface finish. The Waterdragon was re-installed (upright to protect its condition) in March 2024 - next to a restored tree-frog and carpet snake by the same unknown artist completed by CAS in 2022.
